Al momento il Crossing Souls project sta cercando di raccogliere finanziamenti mediante un Kickstarter fundraising. Se quest'ultimo dovesse andare a buon fine, ovvero se l'obiettivo di 45000 dollari venisse raggiunto entro il tempo limite prefissato (l'incasso ammonta a 2491 $, quando mancano ancora 29 giorni al termine), questo action-adventure vecchia scuola ("an action-adventure with RPG touches set in a classic 80's style. You will play in a orthogonal 2D view slightly similar to classics like The Legend of Zelda") con appunto "giusto un tocco di RPG" verrebbe rilasciato nel 2015 per PC, Mac e Linux.
