La colonna sonora di Target Earth / Assault Suit Leynos per Sega Genesis / Mega Drive di Takashi Suzuki è stata realizzata utilizzando il peculiare driver audio ODQ-MD v1.00 (Takayuki Suzuki/Goblin Sound/Opus). Altro esempio di chip music che va oltre... su Atari ST e "griffato" da 505... questa volta in un suggestivo quanto "didattico" per-channel Oscilloscope View video pubblicato su YouTube lo scorso 17 maggio:
Il brano è "CPU Eater" ( https://sndh.atari.org/?ID=2528 ) e il titolo si riferisce alla natura relativamente "CPU 'intensive'" della chiptune che utilizza delle "advanced wavforms" normalmente precluse al limitato chip Yamaha YM2149F. Questi suoni più "complessi" ottenuti via software tramite "timer effects" risultano relativamente più "impegnativi" per il Motorola 68000 del sistema.Alessio "AlextheLioNet" Bianchi
