<< Digidrum: Digidrum is a very little 4bits sample played on a voice. Tradionnaly used to add more realistic drums in music, musicians called it "Digi(t) Drum".

SID-Voice: SID-Voice is a great sound trick on the ATARI, because of low CPU consuming and great sound effects. It sounds a bit like C64 so that's why musicians call it "SID-Voice". On a real ATARI, SID-Voice uses a CPU interrupts to produce a square tone, wich is mixed to the original YM2149 tone.

Sinus-Sid: This is bad name for an effect wich is closer to the Digidrum technic than the SID-Voice. Only used by the musician TAO, this is only a little 4bits sample producing a sinus wave.

Sync-Buzzer: I think this is one of the coolest special effect, with SID-Voice. It was used first by the musician TAO. Sync-Buzzer uses an external CPU interrupts to write values in the Envelope shape register. (YM2149 register 13). As you probably know, writing in r13 set the new shape waveform AND reset the envelope ! So you can produce some very nice sound effect.

Keane vs Yuzo Koshiro ---> "My Little Laby" (Streets of Rage - Mega Drive - Good ending) di Yuzo Koshiro mixata con "Everybody's Changing" di Keane

videogamedj: << Everybody's changing vs My Little Baby (arranged)

Originally only wanted to get grips with new audio tools and books ive brought on the best ways of filtering vocals from mastered tracks. The hardest part to this was actually riping the vocals as their is no a cappella to 'everybody's changing'.

All sound Sounds are ripped from YM Genesis chip music: 'Good ending' was then filtered and patch in to sound banks and used as normal Mid / sound files, inwhich i built the entire arangement around the vocals.

                    Tools used:

                    Sega Megadrive
                    Cuebase
                    Acid Pro 6
                    Waves Plugins
                    stylus RMX (for the drums)
Sony Vegas (for the video editing)

Both original tracks are already 'perfect' - I really created this for my own pleasure.

GottaReboot: << This is "Splash Wave" from "Outrun" as it may have been if Outrun was ever ported to the Atari XL/XE series. It was done for the Commodore 64, but never for the Atari. Bummer.

Congratulations to dancentral for the 800 subs! Awesome!

About the tune: This was recorded of an RMT tune by kjmann, from a rendering of "Splash wave" from the original Outrun. Original author of the tune is Hiroshi Miyauchi for the Sega Mastersystem Outrun. And as original composer.
