The original version of this guitar was produced for guitar player/producer "Jun Senoue" who has been producing all the sound and music for SEGA's world famous, Sonic series, to play at a live performance in the production symposium of "Sonic Adventure" in 1998. Since then, this guitar has been catching eye balls of Sonic fans in the world as a "Sonic" guitar.
Finally, the original guitar has bee reproduced as the STH-30, in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of Sonic by ESP and SEGA's collaboration. This model is only being produeced in very limited numbers and is expected to become a highly collectable model amongst guitar players and avid gamers alike.
